    Heh, I actually had someone IM me and ask if Derren and I were still alive the other day.  We are.  We're just both incredibly busy RL atm, and haven't much SL time, except very late at night (for him, poor babydoll!) after I get home from working 10 and 11 hour days.   Sunday nights, we can always be found at Club Industry, for 80's night, though, from 10 SLT until D has to hit the hay.

Derren is now dancing at Club Industry two nights a week, our fave industrial/EBM club.  He was fantastic, and the DJ and staff were convincing peeps to purchase the "Support Japan" bears all through the set from the in club linkboard, and it worked!  Several got new purchases, several wore ones they already had, and DJ Octavia was passing out L$ to everyone that had one.  So much for the Goth/

Ok, so I never NEVER gave in to the cuteness of Derren's kitteh's.  No matter WHAT he says on his blog.  I do not, nor will I ever, own an AIF kitten.  I own an AIF puppy.  An adorable little AIF white Chihuahua puppy, which hates Derren.  LOL!  It's the funniest damned thing I've ever seen.  The animations are the best that I've seen in animals in SL, and I've owned several over the years.

So, I built this quaint little (600+ prim!) cottage for Derren and I, and we've decided to redo the sim in a Victorian/Old South theme, with gardens, a hidden Fae area, and of course, a little cove for our surfing!  We'll keep ya posted on how it's going.... should be interesting... our first truly joint endeavor at building.  I see great battles in the future!  LOL!    So, I move the furniture around in the living room, and go to get the Xmas stuff out.  It's in a closet that only has it, and my very best clothing in it.  I notice a wet sweater collar.  I look up.  Half the ceiling is collapsed, and there is black mold everywhere.    Gone..... over 3500$ (that's what the insurance estimate was originally, when I took the policies out) of antique family (
